◆too…to…意為“太……而不能……”，表示否定意義，too為副詞，后接形容詞或副詞的原級，to后接動詞原形。

如：The child is too young to go to school.這個孩子太小而不能去上學。

◆Too…to…可以轉化為“so…that…”/“not…enough to…”結構，但要注意“not…enough to…”結構與“too…to…”結構中形容詞的意思相反

如：He's so young that he can't take care of himself.=He isn't old enough to take care of himself.

=He's too young to take care of himself.他太小了照顧不了自己
