OTHER和ANOTHER的區(qū)別

1.the other意思為“（兩個(gè)中的）另一個(gè)”，other+名詞復(fù)數(shù).表示“另一些”。

I have two books. One is Chinese, the other is Japanese.

2.others相當(dāng)于“other+可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)形式“，the others表示“其余的”。

Others may like the story.

The boy doesn't like his teacher. What about the others in the class.

3.another是“另一個(gè)”的意思，指多個(gè)東西的另一個(gè)，兼具名詞和形容詞性質(zhì)。

I've lost my pen, so I bought another one.

4.another還有啊“再”的意思。

Would you like another cup of tea?
