By having developed and cultivated what things has the Venerable Anuruddha attained to greatness of direct knowledge.

At that time venerable Anuruddha having got up in the last watch of the night recited the Dhamma.
一爾時，尊者阿那律住舍衛(wèi)城祇樹給孤獨園。
The wandering ascetics depreciating venerable Anuruddha as a novice and as foolish got up from their seats and went away.
七時，諸外道出家眾，言新參，言愚癡，以毀罵具壽阿菟羅度，即從座起而去。
Then a certain deity named Jalini of the company of the thirty-three gods a previous wife of venerable Anuruddha approached him.
二時，尊者阿那律俗家之妻，為三十三天天神之阇利仁，來詣尊者阿那律處。
