用法辨析
- already的意思是“較早地”“提前”,可表示“比預(yù)想發(fā)生的時(shí)間早”,也可表示“比可能發(fā)生的時(shí)間早”,含有“想不到某事竟然已經(jīng)發(fā)生了”或“以為某事會(huì)晚一些發(fā)生”的意味。
- already一般用于肯定句中。與動(dòng)詞搭配時(shí),靜態(tài)動(dòng)詞多用一般式,動(dòng)態(tài)動(dòng)詞多用完成式。表示與現(xiàn)在時(shí)間相比而已經(jīng)做過(guò)的事,即by this time,須用現(xiàn)在完成時(shí); 表示與過(guò)去時(shí)間相比而已經(jīng)做過(guò)的事,即by that time,用過(guò)去完成時(shí)或過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)。already不用于一般將來(lái)時(shí)。
