常用用法
- 名詞feature的意思是“特色,特征”,轉(zhuǎn)化為動(dòng)詞作“以…為特色,是…的特色”解,用作及物動(dòng)詞,接名詞或代詞作賓語(yǔ)。
- feature作“占重要位置”解時(shí),常用作不及物動(dòng)詞,其后接介詞in,表示“在…中擔(dān)任主角,占重要地位或起重要作用”。
- feature還可作“刊載,展出”解,用作及物動(dòng)詞,接名詞或代詞作賓語(yǔ)。
- 在戲劇界、電影界, feature這一詞現(xiàn)已逐漸被舍棄,說(shuō)“由…主演”已不大用feature,而代之以star。
- feature作為單數(shù)時(shí)，指“面孔的某個(gè)部分”，如眼，鼻，眉都分別是一個(gè)feature。作為復(fù)數(shù)時(shí)，features常指“容貌”；

- 這組詞都有“臉”“面貌”的意思。其區(qū)別在于:
- 1.face意義廣泛,可指人或動(dòng)物的臉,也可指面部表情,還可指事物的外表等。例如:
- She powdered her face before going to dinner.她去參加晚宴前往臉上搽了粉。
- The little boy's face shone when I gave him the sweets.我把糖果給那個(gè)小男孩時(shí),他臉上露出了高興的神色。
