worth, worthy, worthwhile用法區(qū)別一:
worth表示“值,值得”,可用表語(yǔ)或後置定語(yǔ),其後一定要有名詞或動(dòng)名詞作賓語(yǔ),但不能接不定式。如:
The book is worth $ 100.這本書(shū)值100元。
The book is worth reading.這本書(shū)值得看。
This is a book worth reading.這是一本值得讀的書(shū)。

worthy表示“應(yīng)得,配得上,值得”,常作表語(yǔ)或後置定語(yǔ),後接不定式,或of加名詞或動(dòng)名詞。如:
His behaviour is worthy of great praise. 他的行爲(wèi)應(yīng)受到高度贊敭。
I think he is not worthy of her. 我認(rèn)爲(wèi)他配不上她。
The book is worthy of being read. = The book is worthy to be read.這躰書(shū)值得讀。
This is a book worthy of being read. = This is a book worthy to be read.這是一本值得讀的書(shū)。

worthwhile表示“值得的,值得乾的,值得花時(shí)間/金錢(qián)/精力的”,可作定語(yǔ)、表語(yǔ)或賓補(bǔ)。如:
Nursing is a very worthwhile career. 護(hù)理是很值得乾的職業(yè)。(定語(yǔ))
The visit to Paris is worthwhile. 去巴黎訪問(wèn)是值得的。(表語(yǔ))
I think it worthwhile to read the book. 我認(rèn)爲(wèi)看那本書(shū)是值得的。(賓補(bǔ))
還可用於It is worthwhile doing /to do sth. 句型。如:
It is worthwhile reading /to read the book.= Reading /To read is worthwhile.這本書(shū)值得看。
有時(shí)可在worth與while之間插入one's。如:
The work is worth your while. 這工作值得你去做。
It is worth our while to discuss the question. 這個(gè)問(wèn)題值得我們討論。
Make it worth sb.'s while 酧謝某人。如:
