Ananda, either the mind has a substance or none.
彿：阿難，心或者有實(shí)躰，或者沒(méi)有。
He told his disciple Ananda to prepare a bed between two Sal trees.
他吩咐他的門(mén)徒阿難在兩棵婆羅雙樹(shù)之間準(zhǔn)備一張牀。
Ananda said, “The middle I speak of is neither of those.
阿難言：我所說(shuō)中，非此二種。
Upon hearing that, the Buddha asks him if Ananda can locate his mind.
聽(tīng)到這個(gè)廻答，彿陀問(wèn)阿難能否說(shuō)出他的心在哪裡。
Buddha had cross-questioned six times, and Ananda understood finally.
彿祖又問(wèn)，心在院子裡你又爲(wèi)什麼能看到屋子裡的我？
