這6個詞均有“包”的意思。其區(qū)別在於:pack指背包和包裝的容器,也可指任何尺寸大小的包; package可專指包裝袋、包裝盒,也可指中小型的包,在美國主要指小包、小袋或小盒; parcel指由一件或幾件東西綑在一起,便於人們攜帶的“中、小型包”。在英國parcel一般指郵包,在美國則專指15磅以下的郵包; packet指包得非常整潔的小包,如信件小包,多指“小件行李,郵包”; bunch指同類的物品緊湊而有條理地紥或綑在一起,意爲“束,串”; bundle指寬松地打成的“綑”或“包”。例如:
The climber carried some food in a pack on his back.登山者用背包背著一些乾糧。
We need the best package for the towels.我們需要用最好的包裝用品來包裝這些毛巾。
