• continue的基本意思是“繼續(xù)”,指動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)的繼續(xù)或持續(xù)不中斷。可表示一件事一直在做,中間沒(méi)有停歇; 也可以表示中間有一個(gè)中斷,又接著做下去。
• continue可用作不及物動(dòng)詞,也可用作及物動(dòng)詞。用作及物動(dòng)詞時(shí)可接名詞、動(dòng)名詞、動(dòng)詞不定式或that從句作賓語(yǔ),也可以接as短語(yǔ)充儅補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)的複郃賓語(yǔ)。continue還可引出直接引語(yǔ)。
• continue還可用作系動(dòng)詞,接(to be+) adj. 或as+ n. 作表語(yǔ), to be?？梢允÷?。
