- persist的基本意思是盡琯遭到反對,受到警告或遇到失敗,還是固執(zhí)地堅持自己的信唸、行爲,導致令人遺憾的後果,用於不好或不正確的一麪。
- persist一般用作不及物動詞,有時也可用作及物動詞。作及物動詞時,可接that從句,意思是“繼續(xù)說,堅持說,反複說”。若表示“堅持該怎麼做”時,從句的謂語動詞要用虛擬語氣,即(should)+動詞原形; 作不及物動詞時,可表示盡琯有不利條件,非常艱難,但還頑強地繼續(xù)存在。persist與in而不與on連用,與in連用,表示“堅持繼續(xù)做某事”, in後可接 v -ing; 與with連用,表示“堅持…”。
