常用用法
- police的意思是“警察”,指警察這個(gè)官方機(jī)搆,是單數(shù)形式的複數(shù)名詞,前麪一般要用定冠詞the,後麪跟動(dòng)詞的複數(shù)形式。
- police須用their等複數(shù)代詞指代,可受these, most, several, many, dozens of等表示不確切的量詞脩飾,也可受2以上基數(shù)詞脩飾,但不可用a或one脩飾表示單個(gè)警察。
- police在句中可用在其他名詞前作定語。
