常用用法

表示“一收到……立刻……”用on/upon (the) receipt of，the可省略。I shall write again on/upon receipt of further news. 一收到更多的新聞資料，我就會(huì)立刻再寫(xiě)。
receipt和recipe都有“毉葯的配方”的意思，而 recipe還可指“食譜”，receipt則可指“收據(jù)”；
in receipt of表示“收到了……的”，屬於商業(yè)文件和公文用語(yǔ)。I am in receipt of your document. 我收到你的文件了。
receipt表示“收據(jù)”時(shí)，常不加a或the。I am enclosing receipt for the goods received. 我附上了收到的貨物的收據(jù)。
