常用用法

v. (動詞)

reduce的基本意思是“減少”,指重量、程度、數(shù)目、范圍、速度等減少或降低,不僅可以指量的變化,還可以指質(zhì)的轉(zhuǎn)變。引申可作“降職”“使…陷入某種狀態(tài)或狀況中”“將…概括或簡化”“將…還原”“征服”“攻陷”等解。
reduce可用作及物動詞,也可用作不及物動詞。用作及物動詞時接名詞或代詞作賓語?？捎糜诒粍咏Y(jié)構(gòu)。
reduce偶爾也可接動詞不定式作賓語補足語,意思是“使…不得不…”。
