advise的用法
advise 勸告,忠告;儅...的顧問(wèn);通知,告知;建議採(cǎi)取等意思，關(guān)於advise的用法也是各種各樣：
1. advise sth / sb
Early booking is advised. 建議及早訂票。
The doctor advised a complete rest. 毉生讓完全休息。
Experts were brought in to advise the Government. 請(qǐng)來(lái)了專(zhuān)家擔(dān)儅政府顧問(wèn)。
I've tried to advise her but she won't listen. 我設(shè)法給她出主意，但是她不肯聽(tīng)。
2. advise sb to do
They advised him to wait. 他們勸他等待。
Shakespeare advises us not to borrow or lend. 莎士比亞勸我們既不要曏人借錢(qián)也不要借錢(qián)給人。
Would you advise me to phone, or shall I wait a bit longer? 你看我打電話好，還是我再等一會(huì)兒好?
3. advise doing
I'd advise taking a different approach. 我建議換個(gè)方式。
I wouldn't advise taking the car—there's nowhere to park. 我看不要開(kāi)車(chē)去——沒(méi)有停車(chē)的地方。
She advised keeping the gate locked / advised us to keep it locked. 她忠告我們應(yīng)儅鎖好門(mén)。
Would you advise phoning, or shall I wait a bit longer? 你看我打電話好，還是我再等一會(huì)兒好?
4. be advised to
You would be well advised to stay indoors. 你最好待在屋裡。
Obese patients are advised to change their diet. 建議肥胖病人改變飲食。
You would be well advised to reconsider your decision. 你應(yīng)該把你的決定再重新考慮一下才好。
5. advise sb's doing
I advised his starting at once. 我勸他馬上動(dòng)身。
He advised her applying at once. 他勸告她立即提出申請(qǐng)。
I advise his waiting a few more days. 我建議他再等幾天。
6. advise + wh- + to do
I advised her where to stay. 我?guī)退鲋饕庠谀难e住。
He advised her where to stay. 他建議她在哪裡住。
They will advise you what to do. 他們將給你出主意怎麼辦。
Can you advise me whether to register this letter? 你看，這封信需要掛號(hào)不?
7. advise whether…(陳述語(yǔ)氣)
Please advise me whether I should accept the offer. 請(qǐng)幫我出主意我是否應(yīng)接受這份工作。
8. advise sb about doing
Is a solicitor the best person to advise me about buying a house? 律師是我買(mǎi)房子的最好顧問(wèn)嗎?
9. advise that…(陳述語(yǔ)氣)
We have advised her that we are coming. 我們已通知她我們即將到來(lái)。
10. advise that…(虛擬語(yǔ)氣)
She advised that we should keep the gate locked. 她忠告我們要把門(mén)鎖好。
