后綴-ry = ...行業(yè)；...行為；...地點;...的集合體

名詞后綴-ry 是后綴-ery 的縮略形式，由于它的孳生能力較強(qiáng)，所以專門予以介紹。-ry 主要用在以t,d,l,n,sh,w等字母結(jié)尾的可數(shù)名詞或名詞性詞根后面，構(gòu)成名詞。它主要表示the occupation of a ～（...的行業(yè)），the act of a ～(...的行為），the quality or condition of a ～(...性質(zhì)或狀態(tài)），a collection of ～s（...集合體）；它還可以表示a place for～(...的地點）。
